Wiki Announcements and Discussions
Hi there, I'm the new Wiki Representative for the Valkyrie Crusade Wiki, taking over from User:SlyCooperFan1. I hope everything is running smoothly, but feel free to ask me questions if you have any. My areas of expertise are listed on my profile. You can reach me by leaving a message on my wall, on Discord at Moviesign#6611, or by email at Moviesign at fandom.com.
PS: Please see the new blog post about the reorg.

I updated the wiki navigation to hopefully be more useful and organized. Let me know if you have any further suggestions or would like to see an item not listed up there in the main navigation.
Finally an evolution to the GLRs. Welcome the XLRs woot! woot! I want the true next evolution
Choocolatiah has been maintaining new events and cards for quite a while now and most people here probably know who she is.
Please welcome her as the newest admin. You can write something personal over on her wall:
valkyriecrusade.wikia.com/wiki/Message_Wall:Choocolatiah
She is replacing 64bit as they recently retired form the game.
I'm sorry, I don't understand. I noticed this category and thought it was for cards which have a new version. Leviathan/Leviathan EX, Oracle/Oracle Ascendant, Amaterasu/Sacred Amaterasu, and so forth.
I added Cinderella and her new forms, Radiant Cinderella and Dark Cinderella but they were pretty quickly changed back. I guess I don't know what the category is for?
Thanks to User:Kellindil Maendellyn We now have all the HD images from the game uploaded to the Wikia as well as all the card icons for all evolutions.
2 Points on new image use:
- I have updated the Card Template to include these icons. If you can think of a better way to display them, I'd be more than happy to hear.
- The Card Icon Template has been updated so you can choose the evolution you want to use.
Examples of the new use:
- Sulis Amalgamated Card Icon
{{Card Icon|Sulis|ImageWidth=128|Evo=A}}
- Sulis Awakened Card Icon
{{Card Icon|Sulis|ImageWidth=128|Evo=G}}
- Knight 2* Evo Card Icon
{{Card Icon|Knight|ImageWidth=128|Evo=2}}
- Knight Final Evo Card Icon
{{Card Icon|Knight|ImageWidth=128|Evo=H}}
Let me know if you have any questions.
I finished the template that categorizes skills automatically. Please let me know if you see any cards appearing under an incorrect category and I'll try to get it fixed ASAP.
Some notes:
- Category:Heal (Own) now has a category and is split from Category:Heal (Single)
- I did not split Category:Resurrect into "Single" and "All" categories. If people would like to see those split, let me know and it can be done rather quickly
- I did not "auto categorize" Category:Gold Conversion or Category:Receive Rewards. Neither of these have seen a new card in quite some time and I didn't not see a benefit to it.
I've been working on a new card format that will hopefully display the information better for the new card skill. You can see an example of it here. Please take a look and let me know what you think.
Today I received the bureaucrat rights and assigned out 2 new Admins.
User:64bit has been a long time editor and has often helped maintain more advanced parts of the wikis such as the Home Page and Card templates. S/He has also been an active admin on the Terra Battle Wiki. I have also enabled 64bit as a fellow bureaucrat, so we now have 2 people that can maintain the wikia in full.
User:Elit3Blaze is a long time and avid contributor of card info and keeps me straight when I mess things up like colors or formatting. He brings in a lot of graphical experience that I am lacking. While he is not as well versed in advanced wiki editing like 64bit or myself, his experience is invaluable.
Please welcome both, and let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.
p.s. I have also currently disabled the admin rights on the inactive admins. The main reason for this was so that new users would only get the welcome message from the currently active admins.
Nearly every card in VC is named after some historical or mythological figure (often gender swapped). I think it would be a good addition to include a section directly on the card description, or tied to it, where users can add a historical note about the card's name.
It should probably be limited text entry field so the descriptions don't get super long on the more famous myths.
Sure I could google every card name and look around until I find the reference, but this makes the site a bit more inclusive and interesting, especially for the non-western myths which would be harder to dig up information on.
the Wiki Activity page was useful to find recent discussions in any page (not just the forums) and updates.... was it cleared or something? the last 2 days i only see a few items of activity instead of seeing the true history.
I have updated the MediaWiki:Forum-policies-and-faq. I will ask that people posting stay on topic with the original poster. For example:
- Do not complain about an Alliance in a recruitment thread. You should start a new thread if you wish to do so.
- Do not try to recruit members posting about advice on Alliance Battle decks. Send a message to their wall instead.
If anyone sees violations of this, please notify a Moderator or Admin and we can move or delete the off topic comments. You can also use the "Remove" button
I'm looking for 1 or 2 people who would like to be forum moderators. These permissions would allow you the following access described in detail here Help:User_access_levels#Moderators.
On Message Walls and the Forum area:
- Removing and restoring threads and replies from any user.
- Closing and reopening threads.
- In the Forum feature specifically, moderators also have the ability to manage Forum boards, move threads from one board to another, and highlight and un-highlight threads.
Do to these elevated rights of modifying users message walls, I'll request that you apply in this thread if interested.
Requirements for applying are:
- Must be a registered user
- More than 10 "contributions" within the last month
I like youYour comments are helpful and/or positive to other users. Not just things like "I like the SR art better" and "LOL"- If many people apply, pass a community vote
- In your application message here, also give a little info about yourself and why you think you'd make a good moderator
Why do I want other people to be moderators?
- I don't check the forums very often myself
- Take care of spam when needed
- Hopefully will encourage more participation of other community members
Thanks!
I've always wanted to be able to search based on different properties of cards. Like select element, rarity, skill type, ability to awaken, has witch hunt, has TO, has amalgamation, event-limited or common (like is in summons or can get from AW reward)... max skill proc % would also be sweet (choose a minimum like 15%, 30%...). I'm sure people have requested before.. has this been done?
We have to have a way to express differences between Single Target Heal like Ribbon Girl who heals whichever target has the lowest HP and single target heal like Gummy Candy and Anello who heal any old random card. It should be searchable.
There also needs to be a way to determine the number of procs Counterattack has. Bicorn, Prost, and Catcine all have 1 'proc' for counterattack but while Bicorn and Prost only counter once Catcine does so twice. It should also be searchable.
A new type of skill category is probably in order.
Can we decide on a clear convention for the following inconsistencies:
- Procs: Infinite / Unlimited
- Battle start cards with/without "Number of Procs: 1"
- Which types of evolutions we want to document (5-card, 6-card, 16-card, etc.)
- 6-card evolution / 6 cards evolution (naming)
If you know of any other inconsistencies feel free to post them here.
On another note, it would be nice to have a "how-to" page for adding information. I have been seeing several contributions where the stats have been modified by ATK/DEF arcana because some players think ATK/DEF arcana are necessary for perfect evolutions/amalgamations.
Hello everyone,
For many months now, the comments sections on various pages have been over-saturated with postings of player IDs. While it is great for players to be sharing their codes amongst each other, these comments sections are for the purpose of discussion and are not a place to "advertise".
After a short discussion, we decided that we will no longer allow this.
Starting now, all player IDs must be posted on the dedicated Comrade Requests page. Any article comments that are posted for the purpose of sharing IDs will be deleted. We will also remove the ones posted before this policy was created in order to keep things fair as well as to clean up the mess that has started.
Right now, this does not apply to blog or forum posts, but if the problem spreads there then we will have expand the policy to cover those areas as well.
Hopefully, this new policy will turn out well. If things still do not work out, we will have to find another solution.
If you have any questions, comments or further suggestions, please feel free to write them below.
