Area Dialogue
Uruk Ages ago, a murderous god-slayer was imprisoned in the land of Uruk. Her name was Gilgamesh. But word has come that someone seeks to free her from her bonds. We must do something, Milord, for if she goes free, surely she shall seek to slay gods once more!
Uruk1-1
Guide Dialogue
This is Uruk, the land where Gilgamesh was imprisoned. Who could be seeking to free her from her bonds? Well, we shall just have to investigate for ourselves. Let us roam about and see what we may see.

Gilgamesh has already been freed from her bonds! How is this possible!? Fortunately, she has not resumed her god-slaying ways, at least not yet. What do you suppose this could mean?
Uruk1-2
Guide Dialogue
Look, Milord... 'Tis an enormous magic circle. Was this what had kept Gilgamesh bound in place?

Have you noticed that maiden who has been summoning demons, Milord? It seems that releasing Gilgamesh has caused many to gather who would join in the slaughter of gods. I fear war shall break out here in the Celestial Realm should we fail to stop them soon.
Uruk1-3
Guide Dialogue
I have heard that Gilgamesh seeks to not only slay gods, but demons as well. So I have asked for Hades' assistance, but I do not see any sign of her around here.

Let me be the first to congratulate you, Milord! ...Oh, look! Hades has arrived! Let us go ask her what she knows about Gilgamesh.
Uruk1-4
Guide Dialogue
You seem to be calling me an awful lot lately. What gives? Aw, never mind. I only showed up out of self-interest. After all, I can't have that Gilgamesh on the loose. She'll ruin my plans to take over the Celestial Realm!

Hmmm... It looks like the bonds on Gilgamesh aren't fully broken yet. There's something more going on here than meets the eye. But I wonder... Who do you suppose is trying to free her?
Uruk1-5
Guide Dialogue
I heard someone is helping that no-good murderous Gilgamesh. Now what was her name again...? Hmm...

What was it that demon just said? Something about not letting Enkidu get in her way? Oh, right! The fallen angel Enkidu played a part in that story about Gilgamesh the god-killer!
Uruk1-6
Guide Dialogue
Enkidu... But I find it strange, for she was the one who first imprisoned Gilgamesh long ago.

A wonderful battle, Milord! Everyone is pleased!
Uruk1-7
Guide Dialogue
They used to be friends, but Enkidu betrayed Gilgamesh by imprisoning her. Don't you know anything, Oracle?

Now that we have heard Gilgamesh's side of the story, let us have Hades return to where she belongs.
Uruk1-8
Guide Dialogue
I'm not going anywhere! Let Gilgamesh think there's no one in the Infernal Realm that can stand up to her! Heh heh heh... This is my chance to prove how wrong she is. I'll show her how scary the queen of the Infernal Realm can be!

We still got a long way to go, so make sure to keep an eye on your soldiers!
Uruk1-9
Guide Dialogue
But why do you suppose Gilgamesh has not resumed her slaughter? She has not claimed the life of a single god yet. Perhaps she has no wish to aid Enkidu, the very one who originally imprisoned her.

This is just weird. I mean, why would Enkidu want to join up with Gilgamesh when she was the one who imprisoned her in the first place? I get the feeling there's more to this whole Gilgamesh imprisonment thing than meets the eye.
Uruk1-10
Guide Dialogue
Look, there's a goddess chained up over there. Heh heh heh... Serves her right. Still, I guess we should free her. ...Only to hear what she has to say, of course!

So that goddess was chained up by that god-killer Gilgamesh ages ago. Sucks for her. Anyway, we've pretty much seen all there is to see here. Let's get a little closer to the magic circle.
Uruk2-1
Guide Dialogue
...What the heck is that Enkidu up to? If she's trying to destroy the Celestial Realm, she could have come to me and ask-- Er, what I meant was, we better find her quick!

Gilgamesh is not at all like what I have heard in the ancient tales. She does not seem like one who would seek to slay the gods.
Uruk2-2
Guide Dialogue
It seems Gilgamesh has no intention of slaying gods anymore. Still, I wonder whether it would be safe to leave her be.

Hmph, was that it? Piece of cake. It looks like Gilgamesh is at Enkidu's mercy. And if she falls completely under Enkidu's control, she might return to her god-killing ways.
Uruk2-3
Guide Dialogue
In any case, stopping Enkidu should be our first line of business. But if she and Gilgamesh are capable of killing gods, then they must be pretty powerful. But they're nothing I can't handle, of course.

I didn't know you had it in you. I mean, your battle skills aren't half bad!
Uruk2-4
Guide Dialogue
Enkidu should be at the center of this magic circle. Let's go! Hurry!

There is an air most sinister here. Perhaps we draw near to Enkidu.
Uruk2-5
Guide Dialogue
'Tis a maiden pursued by demons! Let us go to her aid at once, Milord!

Enkidu lies ahead... She once joined Gilgamesh is slaying the gods. And it is said her power rivaled that of her compatriot. If this is true, then we shall need Gilgamesh's help in defeating her.
Uruk3-1
Guide Dialogue
We are closing in on Enkidu now! Let us make haste!

So it seems the fallen angel Enkidu had a grudge against the gods of the Celestial Realm. But after helping Gilgamesh in her god-killing, she decided she wanted to go back to being an angel, so she betrayed Gilgamesh by imprisoning her. And how did the gods thank her? By taking her wings and imprisoning her, too! Heh! Those Celestial gods will start making me look good if they keep pulling dirty tricks like that! Anyway, this is what Enkidu was using to control Gilgamesh. Here, you can have it. I don't need stuff like this because I'm going to take over the Celestial Realm on my own.
