Area Dialogue
Lune's Mansion Forgive the sudden intrusion, but does milord perchance like jazz? Tonight there is to be a performance by a jazz band that is quite famous here in the Celestial Realm. The band's star player is a saxophonist by the name of Seika. She is a former priestess and friend of mine. It was with much sorrow I saw her leave her service to the gods, but I am quite delighted to see how successful she has become. Back when she was still a priestess, she would play her saxophone from time to time. 'Twas always a delight to hear. I have no doubt milord shall find it quite soothing. Now, let us go. The band's performance shall be commencing soon.

This is the theater where the band is to perform, but... Hmm, this is strange indeed. 'Tis almost time for the show, yet there are so few here. Do you suppose something has gone awry? Let us move on ahead and see what we might see.

Milord, forgive me for bearing such ill tidings, but it seems the band's performance has been canceled. I also received word that all their future dates have been changed to pending. Is that not strange indeed? Do you suppose something has happened to Seika? Let us investigate this at once, Milord!

Oh, Milord, Lady Oracle, you came, too. The Alchemist invited me here to hear some jazz. Too bad the show was canceled, huh? The Alchemist was so disappointed, she stormed off to the box office, shouting, "I want my money back!" It seems she really loves jazz. Ooh, I should make a note of that.

Oh, Milord! I guess you came to complain about the show being canceled, too! Well, you're not going to believe this, but one of the band members, Soleil, told me what really happened. It turns out Lune, the theater's manager, was the one who canceled the show, even though the band really wanted to play! Even worse, she has pressured other venues to turn them away! It's just so sad...

I have gathered a bit more information, Milord. 'Tis as the Alchemist says. Lune is the one behind the performance's cancelation. Her motive appears to be keeping Seika's music all to herself. That is something I could understand after having heard Seika's music, but it is diametrically opposed to Seika's wish to spread her soothing music far and wide! Milord, Lune must not be allowed to do this. Let us stop her at once!

I just returned from meeting Lune with the Oracle. She said she would revive the show under one condition. However, her condition is utterly unreasonable. She wants 100 trillion in gold! That's such a big number, I better write it down so I don't forget.

I am afraid Mia has misunderstood. It seems Lune has no intention of reviving the performance. She is a tycoon whose mind has been warped by her lust for money. There is only one cure, Milord. If Lune truly wants to monopolize Seika, then perhaps we should have the two of them meet! But first, we must go see whether Seika would agree to such a meeting. This way, Milord!

Wow... Seika's sax playing really is amazing! It's like, just so soothing... I almost feel as if I'm being lulled to sleep. My eyes...feel so...heavy. I can barely keep...them...open... Yikes! I almost dozed off! Oh, but I bet that's the Oracle's plan! She wants to put Lune to sleep with Seika's music! The Oracle really is an amazing strategist!

It seems I am surrounded by maidens prone to misunderstandings. This time, it is the Alchemist. The true effect of Seika's playing is to soothe the soul, not put one to sleep. I believe once Lune hears Seika's music, it will soothe her soul and possibly even lead to a change of heart. Milord, let us go pay a visit to Lune once more!

'Tis as I anticipated. Lune had a change of heart after Seika's music soothed her soul. As evidence of this, she has revived the performance, and she even decided not to charge for tickets. It would seem we will finally be able to enjoy some smooth, soothing jazz, Milord!

Whoa, whoa! People throughout the kingdom are swarming the theater after hearing about the free show! We better hurry if we want to get seats! C'mon everyone, hurry!

Seika's saxophone playing was beautiful. I would have to say her decision to leave the priesthood to pursue her music was the right one. For in a way, she is still serving the gods by soothing people's souls, though she is doing so with music. Oh, it seems her band has decided to perform all night by popular demand. Well, Milord? Shall we enjoy some more smooth, soothing jazz together? After all, the night is still young and anything could happen...
